TimeClockPro (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the TimeClockPro application.

  • Account Information (Optional): If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address for authentication and optional data backup or synchronization.
  • Time Tracking Data: Data you enter such as clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, jobs, tasks, pay rates, overtime rules, and related work records.
  • Settings & Preferences: App settings including overtime rules, break rules, and display preferences.

B. Automatically Collected Information

TimeClockPro does not collect advertising identifiers, tracking data, or analytics used for profiling or cross-app tracking.

If cloud sync is enabled, minimal technical data (such as timestamps and unique record identifiers) may be stored to support synchronization.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used solely to:

  • Provide accurate time tracking and pay calculation features
  • Store and manage your work data locally on your device
  • Sync or back up your data only if you opt in
  • Restore your data if you reinstall the app or change devices

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or behavioral tracking.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Local-First Storage: By default, all data is stored locally on your device.
  • Cloud Sync (Optional): If enabled, your data is securely stored in a private cloud database associated with your account.
  • Security Measures: Industry-standard security practices are used, including encrypted connections where applicable.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Data is shared only:

  • With cloud service providers strictly to provide optional backup and sync functionality
  • When required by law or legal process

5. Your Choices and Controls

You can:

  • Use TimeClockPro without creating an account
  • Enable or disable cloud sync at any time
  • Delete your local data within the app
  • Request deletion of any cloud-stored data by contacting support

6. Data Retention

  • Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
  • Cloud data is retained only while your account is active or until deletion is requested

7. Children’s Privacy

TimeClockPro is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
